Sandeep Acharya

Sandeep Acharya, who won the second season of Indian Idol in 2006, passed away at a Gurgaon hospital on Sunday.

The 29-year-old singer had been suffering from jaundice.Sandeep Acharya released his first album "Mere Saath Saara Jahaan soon after he won the title of Indian Idol.

His body is being taken to his hometown Bikaner, Rajasthan where the last rites will be performed.
