Qubool Hai

Television’s hot favourite couple, Asad and Zoya are finally getting hitched in Qubool Hai and the makers are not leaving any stone unturned to make each frame of this nikaah and the rituals related to it a beautiful and a memorable one. At the recently held haldi ceremony, Raqesh Vashishth and Surbhi Jyoti, who play the character of Asad and Zoya respectively, were asked to exchange their feelings for each other in a shayarana andaaz. The exchange went like this –

ZOYA: Abhi na jao chodke , ki raat abhi baaki hai, jo barson se zuban par thi , who baat abhi baaki hai….

ASAD: Woh baat kabhi ki ho chuki hai , hai goonj rahi woh falak tak, zuban bhale hi khamosh thi , par aankhon mein shor machaa dala…

ZOYA: Paani ki tanki si hai , har baat pe bhar aati hai, aankhe bahut talkative hai , par har baat kar jaati hai…

ASAD: Is baat ko koi dekh na le , palko se kaho chilman kar de, yeh baat hi toh hai ,chalte chalte afsana bann jaati hain ….

ZOYA: Asad-Zoya yeh naam jude ,toh happy country ho jaaye, bas afsano mein naamon ki couple entry ho jaaye…..

After filming the sequence said an excited Surbhi, “Both Raqesh and I had an awesome time shooting this portion. This scene made the entire sequence so different from the other haldi sequences we see usually see in other shows and films. Shayari’s are otherwise Zoya’s forte but Asad and Zoya together sharing their emotions for each other in this style, is a first... hope viewers will like it..”

Said Raqesh, “This is probably the first time Asad will be seen doing shayari onscreen. It’s a very cute and endearing scene between Asad and Zoya where they profess their undying love for each other. This is just the precursor to the grand nikaah which is to take place in front of the monument of love – The Taj Mahal and televised on the day of love – the Valentine’s Day. The viewers shouldn’t miss the 14th February’s telecast of Qubool Hai at 9:30pm only on Zee TV.”
