The 30th Anniversary Priyadarshini Global Awards was a grand affair with the creme de la creme in attendance and the ‘stars of the evening’ – the awardees - shone brightly as they received their awards. Dignitaries present at the event were Piyush Goyal, Honorable Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India and Suresh Prabhu, former Union Minister for Industry, Environment and Forest, graced the event as ‘Guests of Honour’.

Mukesh Ambani was conferred withthe Harish Mahindra Memorial Award for Business Leadership. Nita Ambani who was present for the event, collected the award on behalf of her husband. Priyanka Chopra was honoured with the Smita Patil Memorial Award, while Spiritual leader P Dada Vaswaniwas conferred the Spiritual Leadership Award. Other dignitaries who were conferred with the awards included Rajshree Birla, who was conferred with the Ramakrishna Bajaj Award for her contribution to CSR, Miss World Organization CEO, Julia Morley for her Save the Children campaign, Sir Fazle, for his invaluable contributions to the Alleviation of Poverty and Empowerment of the Poor and World and renowned Economists, Jeffrey Sachs for his Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Development. Present at the event was Miss World 2014, Megan Young, who announced her support to the efforts initiated by Priyadarshni Academy.
