Ankit Gera bitten by travel bug!

Ankit Gera, known for his role in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, has been on the road since three months. The actor had decided to take a break after seven years. "I went to Russia, South Africa, Capetown, Delhi, Goa to spend time with myself and my sister who was back from Canada", says Ankit. "I spent more than a half month in Russia with a friend and Capetown along with other destinations completely alone, with my own company. If you travel alone, there is absolutely nobody to direct you. You are free to go wherever your heart says, do the things you prefer. Though I don't mind travelling with a good company."

Describing more of his journey, Ankit says,"The best thing in Russia is that they don't know your language, English or Hindi. There are beautiful landscapes and St. Petersburg church is breathtaking. I also happened to find food in affordable price, almost half rates from India. Being a pakka non-vegetarian I enjoyed Chinese and Mughal cuisines."

When attending one of his friend's wedding, a channel contacted him for a show. Since then, Ankit is travelling everywhere for promotion. Refreshed by the nice long holidays, Ankit is once more set out to make an impression.

"At the age of 19, I was modelling and started shooting for Pratigya when I was 21, simultaneously doing my B.com graduation. Throughout my career I have done only goody-goody roles. This one had only one villain and a heroine. That sounded pretty interesting. I am still having a lookout for challenging roles. I have worked with Sony, Star Plus, Zee Tv now Colors is on the list",commented Ankit.
