‘Anandi’ of Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha Banerjee who played ‘Anandi’ in Colors longest running show Balika Vadhu fame hanged herself on April 1. The actress was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital by her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh where she was announced dead.

The reason is reported to be turmoil in her love relationship with Rahul Raj Singh. Apparently both were part of Power Couple show and their chemistry was adored by many. What shocked us more is that both seemed to be so much in love during BeWithBeti fashion show in February, that it is very hard for us to believe that love can go sour till this extent within few days.

Her last Whatsapp status was 'Marke Bhi Tujhse Muh Na Modna' which could have hinted towards the sufferings she was already facing.

When we had interviewed Rahul, he said, “We are so alike and that is what keeps our bond strong. We definitely plan to marry sometime soon.” Pratyusha on the other hand had commented, “Rahul pampers me a lot. He is very caring and that is what I love about him.”

Many celebs are present at Kokilaben Hospital. Ajaz Khan says, “She is a very strong girl and she cannot commit suicide. It is a murder.” Her other friends Dolly Bindra and Kamya Punjabi are too in a state of shock.

Earlier this year, Pratyusha was in news for accusing 8 men for raiding her home and attempt to molestation.

There was no suicide note found at her place. All we can say is, this is indeed a very sad news for all of us as we have lost young talent in TV industry. Hope her soul rests in peace.
