Kajal Aggarwal at Giving Back - NGO India 2013

Giving Back-NGO India 2013 opened to a resonating success at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. UBM, India’s largest live media company, hosted the second edition of its unique CSR initiative with a mission to be the most dynamic and collaborative platform for NGOs, Corporate and the Government in order to create sustainable business. Kajal Aggarwal was appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the eventmthat was endorsed and addressed by Mayor of Mumbai- Shri Sunil Waman Prabhu; Bollywood actor- Shreyas Talpade; Dr. Kiran Bedi; Shri Ashok Sajjanhar, Ministry of Home Affairs; Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Director General & CEO, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.

Kajal says, “As an actor I feel fortunate to have the power to influence the general public and their opinions. This in many ways has helped me in creating greater awareness about social issues and concerns at varied platforms. I strongly believe that the film industry has been actively involved in creating social awareness. I have been associated with social causes since my graduation days; however, working with UBM India’s Giving Back-NGO India is one of my first mature experiences in the field of social responsibility.”
