Kirron Kher - The modern and glamorous Ma!
When the ravishing Kirron Kher visited COLORS’ hugely popular Comedy Nights with Kapil to be a part of all the fun and masti that the show dishes out, anchor Kapil Sharma was seen highly humbled at the presence of the actor. Playing a mother to almost every big-wig in Bollywood, Kapil was delighted that she was on his show now donning the role of his mother. In exasperation, he went on to say, “ Aap mere show mein aaj aaye hai mere mummy jaisi bankar..main Aamir or Shah Rukh ki tarah feel kar raha hoon..kyunki aap unki bhi mummy bani hui hai pehle!”
Sharma was all praises for the actor, who is known to play sometimes the loving and gentle homely mother and sometimes the fun-loving and quirky modern mom. “Yeh woh 80’s ki maa nahi hai jo apne bete ko apne baap ke khoon ka badla lene ko kahe! Yeh Ma hasti hai…naachti hai!”, Sharma jokingly remarked referring to Kirron’s fun characters in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Hum Tum and many more.
Going by the fact that this beautiful lady is always spotted decked up in glamorous sarees and classy jewelry, this on-screen mother is an expensive one too! “Crore-ro ki sarree aur laakhon ki jewelry pehenti ho aap…aap toh khade khade hi kisi gareeb ko loan de degi!”, stated Kapil pulling Kher’s leg after seeing her all elaborately dressed up for his show!
