Farah Khan Ali recently celebrated twenty eventful years of her signature label ‘Farah Khan Fine Jewellery’, a labour of love and a journey of the soul that she set upon way back in 1993. To coincide with this milestone, Farah also announced the opening of her flagship jewellery store, at the Turner Road jewellery boulevard in Bandra, Mumbai. The two levelled store designed in an art deco yet Avant Garde style, was decorated beautifully with candles and gorgeous flowers. The stunning orange showcases worked as perfect backdrops for Farah’s stunning jewellery pieces. The vivid orange windows stand out along with the unusual displays that have been created to incorporate the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme. The theme is about a magical world where curiosity makes it so much more wondrous. Farah says, “I believe that anything is possible and just like Alice, I day dream, except I make those dreams come true! Maybe it’s my background of Bollywood that helps me to see things in a magical perspective and allows me the freedom to let my mind run creatively amuck in different directions for I come from a world of make belief, that anything is possible if you truly believe in it. This collection is all encompassing and a collection created with all heart. It’s for the fine jewellery buyer who appreciates the quality of high end gemstones and the finish that compliments such pieces as well as for the adventurous buyer who prefers to experiment with one of a kind unique piece that tell a story. Today, I am proud and happy to present this new flagship store in Mumbai and I hope my patrons are surprised with every visit, enjoying and revelling in the experience of owning a Farah Khan Fine Jewellery design.
