Convocation Ceremony The ITA School of Performing Arts

The ITA School of Performing Arts held the Convocation for its outgoing batches in the School premises on 13th August, 2013. It’s a pioneering effort of its own kind, because for the first time ever training for 4 of most essential disciplines of Acting, Dancing, Singing and Personality Enhancement, without which it is impossible to conceive Screen performances, is provided under one roof.

It’s a labour of love by Shashi Ranjan (Producer, Director, Convener, The ITA & Publisher, GR8!) and a mission closest to his heart. Having started his career as an actor, he knows the intricacies and nuances that make a complete performer.

Thanks to that experience and expertise of his, the ITASPA has many a unique feature to it, like top-notch infrastructure, most experienced faculty and the training syllabi that is at par with global standards.

Besides all of those immaculate facilities, the ITASPA also goes the extra mile in creating a bridge between its students and the industry, like, it entered into an arrangement with ace producer, Rajan Shahi (Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) for which it designed a Special Course to train actors, who would then be given preferred treatment in the casting of his upcoming productions.

Needless to say that the Special Course elicited electric response from Acting aspirants. And now the ITASPA is on the verge of entering the same kind of arrangements with other top-notch Production-houses as well.

Says Shashi Ranjan, ‘Here, at ITASPA, we do not wash our hands off our students once their training is over. Instead, we keep striving hard to get them ‘breaks’ in the industry. In this respect, we did this arrangements with Mr. Rajan Shahi and now, many more tie-ups are in the offing. Those desiring to reap these benefits will have to enroll in the Course starting in September’.

The Ceremony was presided over by Producer/Director Rajan Shahi and amongst those present were TV hearts-throbs like Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Angad Hasija, Kinsuk Mahajan, Dimple Jhangiani amd Ada Khan.
