Gopi Bahu ne Janmashtami manayi
Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays the sweet – simple Gopi in STAR PLUS’ Saath Nibhana Saathiyadecided to celebrate Janmashtami with great gusto. From dressing her little Bal Krishna to ensuring his favorite delicacies were made, singing Krishna bhajans and performing all the rituals in true traditional style, she ensured that the preparations were perfect for her favourite Kanha.
Talking about the Janmashtami celebrations, Devoleena said, “I am Krishna bhagwan’s biggest bhakt and follow his teachings in real life as well. Just like Krishna loves makkhan and mishri I too enjoy it. Besides this, I love singing to hymns while performing the puja and I love the janmashtami celebrations around the city.”
In the show, Gopi’s birthday falls on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami and the viewer’s will be treated to a special episode of celebrations with the Modi family.
