Priyanka Solanki 's dream of starring opposite RK in Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon comes true!
The expression “dreams come true” finds meaning for the Jaipur- based girl Priyanka Solanki, who will be seen as RK’s classic heroine in his film on COLORS’ Madhubala- Ek Ishq, EK Junoon.
The producers had come up with this initiative encouraging new talent and giving its audience an opportunity to work with their favorite actors.
The budding actress had participated in the contest, which was announced on September 4th, 2013 nationally. They got an overwhelming response from its viewers resulting in thousands of entries from across the nation.
The current track of the show features how after Superstar RK (Vivian D’sena) gets banned from the producers’ guild decides to make his own movie and cast a fresh face opposite him. He announces a nation-wide audition inviting aspiring female actors to send in their audition clip. After sitting through thousands of other entries, RK, impressed by Priyanka Solanki’s acting abilities, selected her and decided to cast her in his movie.
An elated Priyanka says the “I am really excited about my role in the show. I am a big fan of the show Madhubala - Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon and an even bigger fan of RK (Vivian D’sena). I am very glad and thankful to RK sir that he chose me over numerous other entries and promise to not let their expectations down. I am looking forward to acting with him and Madhu.”
