Shruti and Bhumit

The son of a beautician and a hairdresser, Bhumeet is the only member of his family addicted to dance since the age of 14. He has been dancing since then and believes in creating his own styles, watching the videos of his idols Michael Jackson and Prabhudeva. Cartoons and playing video games have inspired him to come up with his own ingenuous dance steps and incorporate those quirky moves in his choreography.

17 year old Bhumeet from Delhi is a seemingly geeky, bespectacled young lad who instantly won the hearts of all three judges of India’s No 1 dance reality show with his effortless moves and original body language. His performance to Ishqwala love at the auditions of Dance India Dance Season 4 was packed with the cutest tricks, flairs and stunts and he added his own personal style to ‘new school hip-hop’, simply blowing everyone away! Shruti Merchant proclaimed that she loves him and called him to the judges’ panel to plant a loving kiss on his cheeks. The expression on his face was to be seen to be believed!

He stated that he was called as “Chomi” when he was a child as he was very huggable and kissable. Shruti continued by saying that he is still the same. This made Bhumeet’s day and he had a giant-sized crush on the lovely new judge on DID 4.
