Armaan held guilty for physically abusing Hayat
Armaan Kohli who is currently seen in Bigg Boss is arrested by the Lonavala city police on Monday night after former house mate Sofia Hayat filed an FIR against him for allegedly physically abusing her.
The Lonavala city police requested Bigg Boss to get Armaan out of the house after the complaint by Sofia. On December 11 after Hayat was eliminated from ‘Bigg Boss 7' she rushed to the Santacruz police station to file a complaint against Kohli for manhandling and subjecting her to abusive language inside the 'Bigg Boss' house. Following the complaint by Hayat, an FIR was registered against co-contestant Armaan Kohli.
After the Santacruz Police registered a case they transferred the complaint to their counterparts in Lonavala in Pune district, who conducted further probe into the matter.The police booked Kohli under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code.
Armaan has been in the spot light for a long time because of his short temper, his ugly and violent behavior against Hayat on the show is the reason for his trouble. Hayat had earlier requested Bigg Boss for the eviction of Armaan due to his harsh behavior.
