Pratyusha Banerjee, who earned overnight fame playing Anandi in ‘Colors’ trend setting show Balika Vadhu, has indeed won many hearts. She has been a news maker of 2013 because of the split between her and her Mumbai based businessman Makrand Malhotra. She had been very serious about the relation. However, all this seems to be a tale of past now. They were a sweet couple and things have turned sour between the couple and ended in to drastic drama. She had also filed a complaint against him for verbal abuse. Later on she was seen as one of the contestants in Bigg Boss season 7.

Physical abuse filled on Armaan Kohli

Actor Armaan Kohli, who was contesting to win the Bigg Boss game show, was arrested by Lonavla police after former house mate Sofia Hayat filed an FIR against him for allegedly physically abusing her.

Kohli was picked up from the Bigg Boss house by Lonavala city police Sofia had filed an FIR against Kohli at Santacruz police station here alleging that she was manhandled and subjected to unparliamentarily language by him inside the 'Bigg Boss' house. 

The Santacruz Police, after registering a case, transferred the complaint to their counterparts in Lonavala in Pune district, who conducted further probe into the matter. 

Armaan’s family in return had retaliated by threatening to file a defamation suit against the British singer and model.

During her stay, Sofia had quarrel with fellow contestants Tanishaa, Ajaz Khan, but her arguments with Armaan Kohli allegedly turned ugly and violent. During the show, she also demanded the eviction of Armaan for his unruly behaviour.Armaan, who has worked in films like "Virodhi", "Aulad Ke Dushman" and "Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani", has been in the spotlight on "Bigg Boss Saath-7" several times due to his temper.

Mona Singh's MMS scandal

 After many popular Bollywood actresses it was the TV actress Mona Singh who was the victim of cyber crime. The TV actress Mona Singh became a victim of a scandal when a MMS clip showed her completely nude and looking into the camera and moving from room to room. Not only it caused great humiliation to the actress, the scandal apparently broke her relationship with actor Vidyut Jamwal.

Replacement of Parvati in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev 

It seems that the lead role of Parvati in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev has got a jinx attached to it. First, the original Parvati, played effortlessly by Sonarika Bhadoria who was popular as Parvati was shown the door which was very shocking news to the audience, and now there is a buzz in the media that her replacement Pooja Bose is no longer willing to continue with the show. 

Karan Sing Grover out of 'Qubool Hai'

Actor Karan Sing Grover, known for his role of Asad Ahmed Khan on 'Qubool Hai', has been made to leave the show for his alleged unprofessional behavior. The makers of the Zee TV show had cited the 31-year-old actor's lack of commitment towards the show. They have also taken a legal steps against Grover, who gained popularity with 'Dill Mill Gaye' and reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' and 'Khataron Ke Khiladi'.

Sunil Grover says ‘bye’ to Comedy Nights with Kapil

Stand-up comedian Sunil Grover, who played the funny female character Gutthi on Comedy Nights with Kapil, cleared the air on his leaving of the TV show by saying that he wanted to earn more money. It was reported that the 29-year-old funnyman opted out of the comedy show because his contract was getting over and the show's producer and host Kapil Sharma were not ready to give him a hike as he had asked for. Gutti being the popular character and sudden leaving the show was a talk in the town.

Apoorva and Shilpa rounded up after a raid

Actor couple Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri had been rounded up after a raid in a suburban hotel. The police had conducted a raid last year in May at a hotel in suburban Juhu, where drugs were allegedly being consumed, and rounded up around 86 persons including Apoorva and Shilpa. Shilpa’s blood report suggests she consumed drugs. 

Kapil’s set on fire

There was a sad news for all the Kapil fans as fire broke out on the sets of 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' causing a lot of damage. The entire set had collapsed due to fire outburst. It is believed to have caught fire following a short circuit. But soon he came out to be strong with his new set but controversies didn’t stop following him as he was in the news again for not paying the service tax.After a major fire on the sets he was grilled by Mumbai service tax department for five hours. The service tax department has booked Kapil Sharma for evading the service tax to the tune of Rs.65 lakh. According to an official, the comedian has registered himself with service tax department but didn't pay it. Kapil had promised to pay the tax by Demand Draft soon and got out from all the controversies.
