There are women and then there are ‘WOMEN’ - the Indian woman of today is fighting tooth and nail against the society that is trying to subjugate her. These women have a passion and dedication to excel and live life on their own terms. With ‘No More Kamzor’ airing this International Women’s Day STAR Plus will salute womanhood! STAR Plus will be felicitating talented women who belong to ordinary backgrounds but have made a difference. One such woman who deserves all the appreciation and recognition is our very own comedian Bharati Singh.

But, little do people know that the woman with the funny bone has been a national level archer in her college days and always wanted to pursue it as a career. Unfortunately, Bharati could not persuade her passion for the sport due to lack of funds as she belonged to a very simple family. However, the lady was determined and always wanted to do something different. So when Laughter Challenge auditions knocked, Bharati enthusiastically participated and since then there has been no looking back for this lady. She is an example of how talent can take you places and that all you need is just a great amount of sheer focus.

Kudos to you Bharati, we are sure you make many women out there proud and stand true as an inspiration!
