Pooja Gor

The one contestant who took audiences by storm in the first week of COLORS' stunt-based action reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr Ka Blockbuster, by going head-first into a tank filled with snakes, Pooja Gor, has now become the first contestant to be eliminated from the show. Undoubtedly one of the most loved small screen female actors, Pooja Gor had proved her mettle on the show as she stepped out and faced her fears with a smile and confidence. Just about 4 episodes in, Pooja found herself at the helm of elimination as the week's stunts, though pushed her boundaries, failed to put her ahead of her daredevil co-contestants.

Always perceived to be a shy girl, Pooja Gor took everyone by surprise as she changed their perception in 40 seconds flat as she performed every stunt with  fearlessness unlike any other contestant. Pitted against her fellow female contestants in the elimination round, Pooja found herself in troubled waters as she attempted to pull out dangerous cayman and catfish fromdeep water tanks. Unfortunately  she failed at completing the task and thus becoming the first victim of elimination.

Speaking about her experience on Khatron Ke Khiladi, Pooja Gor said, "The experience was truly fabulous. Being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi was always going to be a challenge and I am quite proud of myself for achieving what I have. I do wish I had survived my elimination stunt and continued to be a part of the thrill and adventure that the show brings. Be it my fear of creepy crawlies or water, I can happily say that I have overcome them all to a great extent and I can only thank Khatron Ke Khiladi for that!"

During the course of the show, Pooja Gor found a close friend and confidante in fellow contestant Rochelle Maria Rao with whom she would spend much of her free time. The new found friends even shed a tear upon learning about Pooja's exit, but parted ways with the promise to stay in touch and be friends for life! All said and done, it was quite surprising to watch the otherwise fragile young girl transform into a fighter while performing stunts. Her presence will truly be missed!
