The Next Karate Kid is a 1994 American martial arts drama film starring Pat Morita and Hilary Swank. Directed by Christopher Cain, written by Mark Lee and with music by Bill Conti, the movie is the fourth and final instalment in the original The Karate Kid series.

The evergreen character of Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) is back! Mr. Miyagi takes a new pupil under his wing; a troubled adolescent girl, Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank). Julie, is an angry teenager who feels the pain of losing both her parents in an accident and is having problems with her grandmother and her fellow pupils. Mr. Miyagi decides to teach her karate to get her through her pain and issues and to get her back on the right path.
