The Fisher Family is about to be broken as blind father and lawyer Mel and Mother Joyce are parting ways. Caught in the crossfire are eleven year old Henry, Katie and their pet dog!
Mel is a blind man like no other, with a seeing dog, bringing down trees with a chainsaw and trying out sport cars. There are comical situations and funny predicaments everywhere with Henry and Katie entering their teenage life.
