The Best Of Me

Relativity Media (Relativity), a next-generation media company and B4U have formed a new joint venture to announce their first Hollywood film, ‘The Best of Me’. The venture will leverage their combined expertise, relationships and resources to create and distribute highly-engaging long and short form entertainment and sports content in India that will span a variety of mediums including film, television and digital.

‘The Best of Me’ is slated to hit the theatres on 31st October, 2014. The film is an adaptation from the published works of Nicholas Sparks who is a well known novelist, screenwriter and producer and The Best of Me is one of his best-selling novels till date. The film has been directed by Michael Hoffman and the star cast features James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan. It tells the story of Dawson and Amanda, two former high school sweethearts who find themselves reunited after 20 years apart, when they return to their small town for the funeral of a beloved friend. Their bittersweet reunion reignites the love they have never forgotten, but soon they discover the forces that drove them apart twenty years ago live on, posing even more serious threats today. Spanning decades, this epic love story captures the enduring power of our first true love, and the wrenching choices we face when confronted with elusive second chances.
