On the 19th August 2012 the opening show of the third IIJW was a grand success.The GR8! Beti’ was a show that was much more than just glamour and glitter. ‘Fashion Show with a Heart and for a Cause’ is a phrase that describes this unique show the best.

Famous TV and film celebrities along with corporate personalities walked the ramp for Beti – an initiative of Anu Ranjan. Beti’s sole responsibility and aim is to create awareness and campaign about issues like female foeticide, acid attack and women empowerment.

Taking this initiative a notch higher this year, Beti accomplished a new milestone as it successfully congregate support for the treatment of Sonali Mukherjee, victim of a horrific acid attack in Jharkhand.

At the event, Anu Ranjan's daughter and successful model Anushka Ranjan was announced as the face of Beti, to spread the message to a wider audience across the country.
The Beti Fashion show by GR8! was undoubtedly one of the most magnificent and touching fashion shows presented at the IIJW 2012. And it certainly will change the life of Sonali Mukherjee who will surely get new hopes as most of the top celebrities walked the ramp for this noble cause.
