Actors share their bhai Dooj Plans!

Ssharad Malhotraa: My real sister’s name is Reema Pawa and is a fashion designer in Kolkata. I won’ t be able to meet my sister as I am shooting for Maharana Pratap. I will talk to her on phone and send her a surprise gift. I will book the gift online to be delivered at her doorstep. Sisters especially elder ones, contribute a lot in shaping your personality. I am very attached to my sister and she has always supported me in all my endeavours. She also used to help me in my studies and I will miss meeting her this year. She is happy that I am doing decent in my career. I have fond memories of spending time with her in Kolkata.

Shashank Vyas: My sister, Shrashti is very sweet and close to my heart. There are no plans for this Bhai Dooj as she is in Jodhpur and I am in Mumbai. Because of the busy shooting schedule it’s not possible to take out time. My brother-in-law had come in Mumbai so along with him I sent cash as a gift to my sister as I couldn’t buy anything for her. Bhai Dooj is a beautiful festival and I feel a brother and sister relationship is the purest and this festival celebrates it. On this occasion I want to tell my sister she means the world to me. I always wish her happiness.

Arjun Bijlani: I don't have a real sister but my first cousin sister Rohini is very close to me. She is very sweet, understanding, loving and caring. She has never made me feel that I don't have a real sister. This year I am planning to take her on shopping and buy a gift of her own choice and I might take her out for dinner too. Me and my sister share a great bonding and she shares anything and everything with me. My sister is very precious and I love the feeling of being a brother, someone who is protective and caring.

Rishina Kandhari: My brother Yatharth is today's young lad, very energetic and enthusiastic about everything and passionate about his work. He is assisting director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and has gone to Rajasthan so he might not be there for Bhai Dooj, until and unless he is planning a surprise visit. Like any other young boy in his twenties, he too gets bored with gadgets and vehicles within no time, this time it's his car. He is planning to buy a new car so I am going to contribute a little amount in that. This will be his Bhai Dooj as well as Diwali gift.

Sumit Kaul: I might be travelling out of Mumbai on Bhai Dooj but if not then like every year I will visit my rakhi sister Namrata's home. As far as gifts are concerned, she has better taste than I do. So I stick to either giving cash or a shopping card that she can use to get something of her choice. Apart from the fact that she has always been there for me as a sister and confidante, she is extremely important in my life as without her I probably wouldn't have met Ritu, my wife. A little secret- the reason I look forward to Bhai Dooj is that Nammu (I call her with love) always insists on getting me a gift.

Aniruddh Dave: My sister Paridhi is very sweet and very close my heart. I will try to meet her on this Bhai Dooj if not possible then will surely courier her a gift voucher or cash so that she can buy gift of her own choice. My sister is based in Jaipur and I have fond memories of spending time with her. In Jaipur the festival is very big and everyone is emotional about it.

Ankit Gera: My sister Anu from Canada will be sending me tikka through courier and I will be wearing that tikka on Bhai Dooj . My sister is very close to me and since we are far from each other, it’s not possible for both us to meet on every Bhai Dooj, but our feelings are attached. I have bought a beautiful dress for her and I will courier it to her.
