The ‘BETI’ Celebrity Ramp-walk.....supports
HEALTHY is HOT..ZERO is NOT..

On 5th April, ’12, the Social Welfare organisation, ‘beti’ organised its annual Celebrity - Ramp-walk and Fashion-show at Sun & Sand in Juhu.

An initiative of Anu Ranjan (President, the ITA and Editor, GR8! TV Mag), ‘beti’ is a movement against Female Foeticide that is rampant all across the country, today. It relentlessly strives to create awareness against the scourge that is playing havoc with the Gender-balance in our Society since 2006..

For this it creates various occasions and platforms where the creme-de-la-creme of different walks of life come together to spread the message all across. The annual Ramp-walk is one of those endeavours.

This year, the Show had also adopted another theme to it – ‘Healthy is Hot – Zero is Not’! This was to underscore the fact that the manic-driven obsession about size-zero figures can do irreversible damage to the bodies, while, on the contrary, properly fleshed up frames can project far better personalities, besides being healthy.
