So Sorry series wins at the FICCI BAF!
‘So Sorry’, the India Today Group’s animated series of politoons won two awards at the prestigious FICCI BAF Awards 2015 held in Mumbai. The two awards won were for Best Animation – Open Category for the 2nd consecutive year and the show of the Year Award. Speaking on the award, Mr. Ashish Bagga, Group CEO– India Today Group said, “This pioneering initiative from the India Today Group has created an ever growing following by redefining political satire on news television.’’
The series has already won wide acclaim by winning top honours at other Industry events including at The BCS Ratna Award 2015 for Best Politoon Series for the 2nd Consecutive Year, Gold at the 5th Asian Digital Media Awards 2014 and Indian Television Academy Awards 2014 for Best Interstitial Filler.
