Tarana Raja takes a few sips of 45 ml !
Tarana Raja, popularly known as Neha from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, was seen reading a few poems last night from a newly launched book titled ‘45 ml: A Collection of Short, Quirky Poems’ By Savita Nair. Currently working in Mumbai as an advertising copywriter, Savita happens to be a close friend of the actress and Tarana was only too happy to oblige. Says Tarana, “I’ve known Savita for a few years now. I think it’s fantastic that she’s put down her thoughts on paper in such a quirky fashion and managed to get them published! She’s a fun, intelligent and quirky girl; much like most of the people I get along fantastically well with!” The reading, which was followed by drinks and dance, was attended by Actor, Film Maker, Independent Marketing and Advertising Professional Farid Currim, Actor, Singer and Composer Sharad Jagtiani, (both being close friends of Savita), and her close friends and colleagues at a SoBo hotspot.
Nair’s maiden book of poems is a quirky, irreverent collection of her observations on men, women, and their interactions, coping with love and losses and everything in between. Written in a simple elegant style, they highlight various ironies of life without weighing down the reader.
