Hardly few TV actors eg. Sushant Singh Rajput  have successfully crossed over into films.  Most small screen stars who  get tempted to move to films burn their hands and come back. In this long list we also have the unfortunate name of   Jennifer  Winget. Poor thing’s Bollywood sojourn Phir  Se  got jinxed for no fault of her’s. The plagiarism  case filed by writer Jyoti Kapoor against director & actor Kunal Kohli  and subsequent out of court settlement  has seen the film been delayed indefinitely.  Sources quip that it's chances of release are quite low and even if it does  it will be regarded as stale.

In such a scenario Jenny compared to other TV actors  quickly  cut her losses and  returned to safer territory . But will her comeback show Behad work given that off late most shows on Sony have not done well on the ratings front ? Luckily  her absence from TV has not  been too long for ”out of sight is out of mind” syndrome  to  kick in,  her last TV show  Saraswatichandra only ended in  2014.  Also she had been lot in the news regarding her divorce with   Karan Singh  Grover. What must really be wrankling Jenny is that KSG who like her also attempted to test tinsel town has been lucky unlike her. His second film Hate Story3 was a super hit.  He is now awaiting the release of his third film 3 Dev. Few know that  Phir Se is not the only unreleased film of  Jenny.   Her other films  Love Kiya Aur Lag Gayi  and Life Reboot Nahi Hoti  Hai  are also stuck in the cans.
