"I learnt the nuances of diction from Md Rafi Saab"Anu Malik at ITA School

Anu Malik & his daughter Anmoll Malik visited the ITA School, Mumbai to interact with students who were passing out from the singing course. Also present on the ocassion were Shashi Ranjan, Chairman of ITA School & Rohit Dandekar - Director, ITA School, Mumbai. Anu & his daughter handed out certificates to the students. A few lucky students also got a chance to sing in front of the celebrated composer / singer.

Anu reminisced about his career in the industry "I have been working for over 30 years in the industry, but I feel I have just started out. I keep learning all the time & the new generation keeps inspiring me to work harder. My most appreciated song of late has been 'Moh Moh', which happened last year. So, I feel I have just started out & have a long journey ahead of me"

Talking about his early career Anu said "I feel lucky to have worked with some of the legends in the industry such asPancham Da, Kishore Kumar & Mohd Rafi. I remember my first meeting with Md. Rafi saab, when I was barely 17 years old. He had asked me to come to his bungalow by 9 am, but I was so restless I landed up at his house at 6 am. I learnt the nuances of diction from Md Rafi saab, who asked me to understand the lyrics well before singing. I also recorded a song for Gayal after Pancham Da fell ill & it was a huge honor for me to step into his shoes so early in my career"
