'Veera' proving to be a millstone around Sneha Wagh's neck

Sneha Wagh, last seen in 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera' (Star Plus ) is concerned about not getting roles of her choice. “The success of Veera, which ran for  three long years, has ensured that I am only getting offered mother character ‘s which is not a good feeling. As an actor I obviously want to do different kinds of stuff. ”

Here  Sneha makes a frank admission  and says,“May be it would have been better had I left the above show when it had taken a leap ( she then played mother to Digangana Suryavanshi  and Shivin Narang). But then if you jump ship midstream, it does not talk good about  your professionalism and plus there is always a fear of not finding alternate work.”

However, Sneha who began her career with Jyoti (Imagine TV) is confident that sooner or later she will find her place under the sun. "Besides broadcast I am also looking at web series as there, unlike TV you can afford to  play around with different kinds of characters and genre and are not restricted  to tried and tested stuff due to fear of  TRP’s.  Today daily space  is dominated by very  young leads  and  actresses like me are not getting good work.”

She is also toying with the idea of trying out Marathi films, “ I know many of these guys but again, knowing people and getting work are two different things"
