Actor Vishal Singh, who became popular as Sanju in Aanand Mahendroo's sitcom 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', has just entered Rajan Shahi's Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the new Naitik. 

He says, " Rajan Shahi had directed me in Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi and its a full circle now that I am working with him in his successful show. Its a good opportunity. Hina Khan is a nice co-star and our chemistry will be visible as Akshara Naitik". 

On being asked if there has been any confusion with his name as the lead of Saath Nibhana Saathiya is also Vishal Singh, he says, " I used to get few calls assuming its him. Common name and surname is a huge coincidence. People recognize me for my shows like dil hai ki manta nahi and gul gulshsan gulfam and now ye ristha".
