Bhabho(Neelu), Sandhya’s mother in law in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s serial ‘Diya Aur Bati Hum’, is now trying to make sure that Sandhya and her son Suraj’s love strengthens further.

She is insisting that Suraj and Sandhya should go to Mount Abu or some other place for honeymoon. Sandhya and Suraj are in awkward position as they cannot say no to Bhabho and also Sandhya cannot miss her night school. Since Bhabho is not aware of this, they cannot discuss this with her. So they both decided to go to Ajmer, which is few kilometers away from Pushkar.

She is also trying to teach Sandhya the art to impress Suraj. And to help Sandhya further, Bhabho is doing her make-over. She has made a lovely plait for Sandhya and even added a rose to make her look more attractive. Later she even asks Sandhya to take food for Suraj who is on his shop. Says Bhabho, “It is very important that sandhya makes the firt move. My son Suraj is very shy about all this and I just hope that he atleast notices this change in Sandhya. Even in village women still follow the same tradition - dress up well and take food for their husband to their shop. It gives husband a special feeling and makes him realize how important he is for his wife. Their love becomes stronger”.
