‘Yes?’ the office boy sizes us from head to foot…

‘Mr Modi please – we have an appointment’… ‘A minute’, says the man and disappears inside… We cast a glance around… It’s a compact pad… The decor is simple, yet highly functional… The ambience is unusually quiet for a Production office, but there is something about it that gives you good vibes…

‘Please come to this side’ beams the pretty 20 something and we are escorted to the waiting enclosure… ‘It’ll take Mr Modi 5, 10 minutes’ she coos… We nod meekly… Plonked on the custom-made sofa, we ready ourselves for some big wait… Minutes tick by and then suddenly somebody barges in… It’s the man himself, carrying a box of Pedas… ‘Sorry for the wait!’ twinkles Asit Modi, ‘These Pedas have just come from Rajkot – care for some?’…

Nibbling at the yummy Peda, we follow him to his Cabin and suddenly find ourselves amidst a cluster of gods, glancing down at us from broad-rimmed frames up on the walls… The man creates an instant connect and the rest just flows… here goes…)
