Pratyusha Banerjee popularly known as Anandi in Colors popular daily series Balika Vadhu has been replaced in the show.

There was already buzz in the media that Pratyusha might leave the show, but the actor went on record saying that she will never leave the show. But it’s a sudden shock to the followers of the show. We hear that Toral Rasputra, known for playing the protagonist, Priyanka Sethi in Disney Channel India's superhit show, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom has stepped into Anandi’s shoes.

Pratyusha has already left the show. We contacted Pratyusha who confirmed the news, “Yes, I have left the show. Since long the discussion was going on and finally on mutual decision between the production house I have left the show. Anandi is close to me and it’s a new twist to my life. I would not give time to the production house due to which they used to face a lot of problems.”

Colors Spokeperson reveals, "Pratyusha Banerjee who plays the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu will be replaced with effect from March 4th 2013 . The show is progressing towards the highpoint focusing on Shiv-Anandi's married life. Given the hectic shooting schedules the show demands at this stage, Pratyusha has been unable to commit the required time. Therefore, we have mutually agreed to part ways. We understand Pratyusha's perspective and wish her all the best for her future endeavors".
