Zee TV's Lil Dramebaazes thrilled to meet their Favorite Soap Stars

We are so engrossed in their lives that we talk about them like we talk of our neighbors. Our dinner isn’t complete without switching on the TV and updating ourselves on what’s brewing in their lives. Naturally, a real-time meeting with our favorite TV soap stars would excite any of us! The talented kids of India’s No.1 reality show ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ are no exception to this rule. When the kids were recently told that they would soon be meeting and shooting with actors Asha Negi (Purvi of Pavitra Rishta), Surbhi Jyoti (Zoya of Qubool Hai), Ankit Gera and Mahima Makwana (Mayank-Rachana of Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke) and Rituraj Singh , the kids simply squealed in joy and excitement.

They soon met up with these actors and began their rehearsals for skits that will be featured on the ‘Fiction Stars’ special episode of ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ that goes on air on Saturday, 6th April. If the buzz is anything to go by, Zee TV’s soap stars were a hit with the kids at the shoot of this special episode and together they brought the house down and had the judges and the audience eating out of their hands. It was not just their impressive skits but the spontaneous masti and their mischievous tom-foolery that had everyone in splits.

There was a cute love triangle when Asha Negi who plays Purvi in Pavitra Rishta joined the show host Rithivik Dhanjani (her on-screen beau Arjun in Pavitra Rishta) on stage as Rithvik is quite vocal about how besotted he is with judge Sonali Bendre! Equally cute was how Asha was ragged by 6 year old contestant Ana (Anamitra Kumari of Jharkhand) when she said that she wishes she had a sasu ma as cute as Ana … Not about to pass up a brilliant opportunity, Ana asked Asha to massage her legs! When Surbhi Jyoti aka Zoya of Qubool Hai joined l’il Praneet on stage, they gave the audience goose-bumps with an act that showcased how a Muslim woman protects a Hindu child from harm in the face of the 26/11 attack by pretending to be his mother. The serious tone set by the skit immediately made way for fun and frolic when Surbhi said Praneet is so cute she wishes “she could carry him home!” The rotund and roly-poly Praneet jumped at the offer and said “Just try and carry me if you can!” This resulted in poor Surabhi trying her level best to lift plump Praneet in vain, leaving the audience guffawing.

Watch all this masti and more as Zee TV’s soap stars join the kids of India’s Best Dramebaaz at 9 PM on Saturday, 6th April, only on Zee TV.
