Not without my brother!

Colors new show 24 produced by Anil Kapoor has acquired the rights to the international hit American TV series 24 and is adapting it for the Indian Audiences with an entire Indian cast and story line.
Award winning Delhi Belly director Abhinay Deo is directing the Indian version and his brother, famous Marathi actor-director-producer Ajinkya Deo is also part of the Indian version.

It looks like critically acclaimed Delly Belly director - Abhinay Deo believes in bringing along his lucky charm for his biggest TV debut. We hear that this lucky charm in none other than his elder brother-veteran Marathi film actor cum producer cum director – Ajinkya Deo. Although the brothers run their own home production company – Ramesh Deo Productions (RDP), they have always worked on different projects, producing or directing them respectively.  This is the first time that the younger Deo will be directing his elder brother. While Ajinkya will be acting in the series, he is also co-producing the show with Anil Kapoor’s Production Company - AKFC. Looks like the multifaceted DEO brothers not only have a keen eye for selecting the best projects to work on but also, are all set to storm the telly tube with their myriad set of talents. We hope that Abhinay's lucky charm works for his big silver screen debut and creates ripples across the country just like it's international counterpart.

On directing his elder brother Abhinay Deo said, “We have worked together earlier for our production house, but this is the first time that I will be directing Dada (elder brother). He has generally produced movies while I have directed them. But this time it will be a dual role play. He will be playing an important role in the show while at the same time co-producing it with AKFC.”

“I think the dual role play runs in the family, since he has already directed our parents in his directional debut. But this time I will be directing him and I am really looking forward to it since it will be a different experience for both of us. I think that this show will help break the stereotype of our regular shows and also garner an entire new set of audiences for Indian television", he later adds.
