Rishabh aka Ayaan of Zee TV's Qubool Hai, who entered the world of television with MTV Splitsvilla has gone on to bag a meaty role in Subhash Ghai's upcoming movie, Kaanchi.

Rishabh went ahead to sign the film's contract without informing anything about it to Zee, and also started his shoot by taking a break from the show.

If sources are to be believed, "The production is auditioning for the role of Ayaan."

We contacted Rishabh who told GR8!, "I am on a break from my show, if they want to replace me it's their call not mine. I have given my heart and soul to the show and I would love to shoot with them when I will be back to Mumbai."
