Sony TV's Anamika are trying level best to entertaining viewers with its gripping storyline. The recent we hear that the production house has roped in a new character.

Papiya Sengupta who was seen in Zee TV's Punar Vivah has been finalized to play the role of Occult, who will help Rano to fight against the evil power of Anamika.

We contacted Papiya who confirmed the news, "Yes I am playing Jhalak, an Occult who will help Rano. The look is very modern and also the character is positive."

Papiya has also been approached to play an important character in Sony next MaharanaPratap.
