Maharana Pratap on Sony

The casting for SET’s forthcoming historical drama Maharana Pratap is going on in earnest. Apart from the actors, the makers are yet to find the most important character and that is the Rajput warrior’s horse Chetak.. 

Sources say that horses are being scouted from across India, especially from the northern belt where there are stud farms. Producer Abhimanyu Singh confirms, “The horse is an integral part of the story. There have been many famous tales about Maharana and the valor of the Chetak. We have even checked a few horses that were part of the President’s bodyguard team and shortlisted a few horses but have yet to finalize on one.”
